Act 8 - Sydney, Australia
Known as the Harbour City, Sydney, Australia will host the final Act of the 2014 global tour.
A fitting venue for a city accustomed to hosting world class sporting events, the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games were officially proclaimed by the International Olympic Committee Chairman to be the "the best games ever!"
Sydney is the largest, oldest and most cosmopolitan city in Australia, with an enviable reputation as one of the world's most beautiful cities.
Brimming with history, nature, culture, art, fashion, cuisine and design, Sydney is defined just as much by its miles of ocean coastline and sandy surf beaches as its exquisite harbour. National parks also ring the city and penetrate right into its heart. The city is also home to the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge, two of the most iconic structures on the planet.
Sydney isn’t short of stellar sporting occasions, and it has hosted multiple major international sporting events including the 2000 Summer Olympics and the final of the 2003 Rugby World Cup.
But it has never seen anything quite like a fleet of Extreme 40s, who will bring high-intensity Stadium Racing to the heart of the city.
