With the eight teams, made up of elite-level sailors from 16 different nations, ready to begin racing on Friday 29 April, here is your guide to following the non-stop action in Qingdao, both on site and online.

How to follow the action ONLINE

The action starts on Friday 29 April with open water racing, before the teams commence battle in the Stadium from Saturday 30 April - Monday 2 May.

On the 29 April, the website will go into race mode, serving as a ‘one-stop-shop’ for following the action online, including live video streaming, SAP Sailing Analytics, dynamic leaderboards and live social media updates.

Sunday 1 May: 1530-1700 (GMT+8)

Monday 2 May: 1515-1645 (GMT+8)

SAP Sailing Analytics will be available on the official event website at the following times:

How to follow the action ON SITE

From the 30 April – 2 May, the public Race Village will be open from 10:00 – 19:00 daily, located at the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Centre. Take a seat on the shore and listen to the live race commentary, as Kiwi sailing legend, Peter Lester, joined by Qingdao Radio presenter, Feng Xuan, takes you through the action blow-by-blow. You can also follow the racing with SAP Sailing Analytics on your phone or tablet.

The Race Village provides the perfect viewing arena for Stadium Racing and will provide a host of entertainment, including a resident DJ and the Land Rover Experience Zone.
